Visuals are very important in story telling. They must enhance, not detract…from the main message. However, sometimes you get the whole story in one graph.

Power is concentrated in UK politics. Most debates, conflicts and disagreements are about class. One percent of the population attends either Oxford or Cambridge. Just over half of the new UK cabinet attended these elite institutions. This is not a healthy society, with diverse voices at the table making rich, nuanced decisions. Those attending elite institutions are over 50 times more likely to reach an elite position. Nothing will change until social mobility improves.
